Music Brampton

 About

As one of the largest organizations of independently owned and operated studios in Ontario, the Academy has been teaching musicians of all ages for over 30 years. While education is our business, we believe that music is a gift that lasts a lifetime. We make learning music a fun and educational experience by constantly seeking out new and effective motivational methods to incorporate into our programs.

For over thirty years, our studios across Southern Ontario have hosted an annual music festival,Funfest, which celebrates the art of music performance. This is a great opportunity for students to gain experience and showcase their talents. There are categories for all ages, levels, and instruments, including solos, duets, ensembles, and rock bands. Participation is not mandatory but is encouraged.

All of our studios are members of the Ontario Music Teacher's Guild, a non-profit organization dedicated to continually improving and enhancing the experience of learning music. Several times a year, representatives from each studio participate in workshops given by the Guild to further their knowledge of music education. Membership in the guild allows us the opportunity to learn about the newest teaching techniques and methods so that we may bring them our students.
